A Gift Guide for Him

Brothers, dads, boyfriends, cousins - when it comes to shopping for the big guys, I can rarely make up my mind what the best gift might be. This year, I wanted to find a wider range of gifts that you can give to any guy on your list. There are definitely a few “big gift” ideas on here as well as smaller dollar items that would work well for a family gift exchange. I’ve also tried to focus on “every day” items that will get lots of love throughout the year.

One | The Manly Man Co. Jerky Gift Basket // Two | Upside Down Beer Glass // Three | Red Clay Sauce Set // Four | Massage Candle // Five | Shibumi Shade // Six | PS5 // Seven | Stojo Collapsible Cup // Eight | Grey Joggers // Nine | State Puzzle // Ten | Insulated Anorak // Eleven | Air Fryer // Twelve | Adidas X_PLR Sneaker

My gift guide from 2019 is below. Check it out for even more ideas!

If there’s one person I definitely dread shopping for, it’s my husband. He almost never tells me what he wants and somehow always manages to get me insanely thoughtful and special gits. But not this year! I have scoured the internet, quizzed all of my friends, and have been bookmarking items for months to come up with the ultimate list of items to wow any guy in your life. Move over holiday ties and dad-joke graphic tees because this year I have brought my A-game to the shopping table.

2019 Holiday Guides

Need more ideas? Shop my other gift guides to find the perfect item for everyone on your list:

One // Gentleman’s Box // What do you get for the guy that has everything? A subscription to a curated quarterly subscription box tailored for the time and season of course! Gentleman's Box has a variety of subscription options, including the Premium Box which is valued at over $300.

Two // Bike Seat // JD loves biking and now that Brody is big enough to ride his own bike alongside him, I wanted to let Isla join in on the fun, too. This bike seat fits both cruiser and mountain style bikes and I love that it situates the kiddo at the front of the bike so that they can enjoy the ride too.

Three // Grill // This grill looks and cooks like the infamous Big Green Egg Grill, but for a fraction of the price! I love that it’s more compact than a traditional grill, which is great if you’re short on storage space. Amazon also offers assembly for an additional fee.

Four // Air Pods // A while back we surveyed the dads of Momma Society to see what they were including on their holiday wish list this year, and Air Pods were one of the most listed items. If you’re buying for an avid runner or someone who spends a lot of time near water, the Pro version is both sweat and water resistant.

Five // Insulated Koozie // I know what you’re thinking, koozies are a dime a dozen these days, but these insulated can coolers are compeltely different. They’re similar to a yeti-style cup and can keep dinks colder for much longer while also saving your hand for holding onto a damp koozie. They even make a “slim” version that fits slender cans perfectly.

Six // Livekick Fitness Membership // If y’all have been following along on my Instagram stories, you know I’ve been loving my Livekick subscription throughout this pregnancy. Livekick is offering a special promo for Momma Society Followers this holiday season! Give the gift of anytime fitness by using the code MOMMAHOLIDAYFIT30. The code is good for 30% off all membership plans for TWO months, and the ability to redeem the code expires on December 31, 2019 at midnight.

Seven // Massage Candle // Part candle, part massage oil, all good for your mans self-care. These candles are hand-poured and made with skin-softening oils that can be used as an oil once melted. You can even sign up for a subscription so you don’t have to worry about re-ordering.

Eight // Sous Vide // Everyone I know who likes to cook meat raves about how amazing a Sous Vide is. Perfectly cooked steaks, chicken and pork every time, plus you can monitor the temperature and cook time from your phone!

Nine // Shave Club Membership // Is it just me or is it starting to seem like the theme of this gift guide is a subscription? I love the idea of subscribing for something mundane like a razor because you’re not only getting a higher quality product for a lower price point, but you’re also make your life easier by taking one less thing off of your shopping list. Treat yo’ self and his face!

Ten // Mug // I know a mug might feel like a basic gift, but I love the artisan look of this one. The sweet “Hello, Handsome” message is the perfect pick-me-up for any sleep deprived morning and is guaranteed to put a smile on his face. Pair it with a bag of his favorite dark roast and a coupon for one uninterrupted breakfast-in-bed.

Eleven // Whirly Popcorn Maker // Sure microwave popcorn is alright, but there’s nothing like the taste of fresh popped popcorn straight out of the popcorn maker. Whether he’s hosting the kids for a neighborhood campout or prepping snacks for a game, the Whirly Popcorn Maker adds that oh-so-tasty touch that will leave everyone grabbing for more.

Twelve // Wireless Sonos Speaker // This is not your dad’s speaker! Wireless speakers are getting smoother and sleeker every year and this Sonos speaker gets top marks for sound quality and Bluetooth connectivity. Plus, it will connect with Widows, Android, or Apple devices so he can sync all his devices to one piece of tech.

Thirteen // Outdoor Projector // The perfect sidekick to the popcorn maker, this outdoor projector will make your man the undisputed king of movies and media. It’s super easy to set up and store and it can connect right to your phone or laptop.

Fourteen // Yeti Cooler // If you’re looking for “the big gift”, then this definitely fits the bill. The Yeti cooler is the top of the line ice chest and will keep ice frozen solid for DAYS. It comes in a variety of colors and is sturdy enough to last through tailgates and beach trips for the next decade.

Fifteen // Tile // I can't even begin to count the number of times JD is searching for the TV remote or Brody + Isla's stuffed animals every day. Enter the ultimate problem solver, the Tile! All you need is the smartphone app and you’ll be able to locate whatever you’re missing in seconds, not days. Which means more time for giving you that foot rub you’ve been asking for, right?
