Thanksgiving Style for the Modern Mom

It’s a complete cliché, but I’ll say it anyway. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is in a few weeks. Where has the year gone??!

When I think of Thanksgiving style, I picture cozy, comfortable and chic. Depending on the dressiness of your holiday gathering, this can mean a few different things. Whether your gathering calls for a dressy outfit, something cute and comfy or relaxed and chic, I’ve got options for you!

Thanksgiving Style: Dressy ///

This outfit is dressier than my typical holiday attire, but I wore a version of it a few weeks ago and felt so good. Maybe it’s time to dress up our Thanksgiving a bit. If headbands are more your thing, this set of 3 is a great price!

Thanksgiving Style: Relaxed & Chic ///

blazer // tee // jeans // booties // tote

I love a good graphic tee. This one is festive and can be worn throughout the holidays right into the new year.

Thanksgiving Style: Cute & Comfy ///

sweater // jeans // loafers (also love these) // nail polish // bag

Whether you’re in charge of cooking or just showing up, this outfit is ideal for both. It’s casual, but pulled together. If it’s especially cold, you can switch out the loafers for a pair of boots or booties. I have this bag in brown and it’s quickly become my everyday, go with everything bag. I couldn’t recommend it more!

I haven’t decided what I’m wearing for Thanksgiving yet, but my 3 year old daughter will be in this leopard dress layered over a cream shirt and paired with black tights. It would also be perfect for family photos this fall!

For the boys, I love this gingham shirt with a pair of jeans. You could also add a cream sweater to coordinate with the leopard dress.

Whatever you choose to wear for the holidays, remember comfort is key. You won’t feel confident unless you’re comfortable. Happy holidays!
