Noobie Box Review: The FREE Pregnancy Box

The post was written in collaboration with Noobie Box. Thank you for supporting the advertisers that keep Momma Society going :)

Pregnancy is nothing if not stressful – you’re getting ready for baby’s arrival, prepping a nursery, taking classes, learning how to sleep with a beach ball, and eating 45 pickles a day. It’s exhausting! For first time momma’s this process can feel even more overwhelming because unless you’ve been researching products for years or you work for a baby boutique, you probably have no idea what half of the baby products out there do or if you need them at all.

I remember when I was pregnant with Brody I would get random formula coupons or wipe samples in the mail, but it always felt more like junk than something I would actually use for my baby. So, when another mom told me about the Noobie Box, I was definitely intrigued!

What’s a Noobie Box?

Well, there are actually a few Noobie boxes, so let’s start with the one I’m most excited about. Noobie Box offers a FREE pregnancy box (just pay shipping) that includes awesome samples for momma + baby like diapers, nipple cream, a pacifier, bottle, supplements and more.

It also comes with a comprehensive guide book that includes information about each product. Noobie Box has partnered with some incredible brands, including MAM, Lansinoh, Aquafor, WaterWipes, and more to bring you the best of the best samples and full sized products.

While some of these products are definitely intended for a newborn or brand new momma, I love that several of the samples can be used well into toddlerhood. So even if your baby has already been around for a month or two, you’ll be able to get great use out of the products that Noobie has included.

In addition to the free pregnancy box, Noobie Box has a sweet box that’s just for new parents. The Noobie Parents Box has 5+ full sized products to pamper and prep you and your partner for your new role and parents. Our box has this fun sleep mask, a cute teething necklace for me to wear, and some other skin and wellness products to help hide this tired eyes and make me feel a little more like “me” when the going gets tough. There’s also an awesome guide book for dads, which I love since a lot of the new parent books out there are geared towards moms. This is such a fun gift to send a friend when you find out they’re expecting!

Another thing I love about the Noobie Parents Box is that they’re here to celebrate all parents in all types of families. If you need to change up the box to fit your family – same-sex parents, single parents, momma + extended family – just shoot Noobie and email and they’ll customize your box, no problem!

  • Noobie Eat | 4+ Months | Includes a bib, sippy cup, and other full size products as well as a  guide for starting solid foods. Yum!

  • Noobie Play | 7+ Months | Rattles, toys, and an awesome “owner’s manual” for games and activities to do with your growing baby.

  • Noobie One | 9+ Months | Get ready to celebrate the craziest year of your life – and your little one’s first birthday! A sweet crown, birthday candle and more make this the cutest box of all. This might be my favorite box of all!

All of the boxes ship free and you can order the set of all four (and save over $30 when you order the bundle). You also have the option to select a girl box or boy box for each of the milestone boxes, and it adds a nice personalized touch!

I love that Noobie Box has products designed for before and after birth. Sometimes with a new baby we all get so caught up in the newborn phase, we forget that parents need a lot of postpartum support, too! If you need a post baby gift for another momma (or even yourself!) these boxes are a great option.

Okay, I’m Sold! How do I get a Noobie Box?

The Noobie Pregnancy box is free, you just have to create an account an pay $7 for shipping, which is such a steal considering what’s inside. All of the other boxes are $29.99 and ship for free – just order from the Noobie Box website!

If you’re ordering a box for yourself or your partner, just add to your cart and check out like you normally would with an online purchase. If you’re giving the box as a gift, you have the option to include a sweet gift message AND you can specify a shipping date! I really love this feature, especially if you’re planning to send a box a little further down the line.

You can also pick up your free pregnancy box at an event near you! Noobie will be attending a ton of baby and pregnancy expos this year, and you can find a list of all events on their calendar page.
