My Favorite Maternity Outfit + A Weekend In Tucson

Ever since our Babymoon, JD and I have been craving more date nights. More time together. More of those deep conversations that we lived for in our early days of dating. Our first kid-free trip to Bermuda was a bit like cutting the umbilical cord. We rediscovered those two crazy high school lovers that had been buried down by loads of laundry, never ending to-do lists, and those far-to-often conversations about our kid's bodily functions.

We realized how uplifting being adults together, rather than just parents together, can be. We also realized how much fun and excitement Brody has when we are away, whether for an hour or a few days. So we've been escaping. Taking time for our marriage. Soaking in our last few months before venturing into the newborn world once again. It has been nothing short of awesome.

This past weekend we headed down to Tucson to celebrate two of our friends who were recently married. We stayed at the cutest little hotel. Drank my weight in virgin margaritas. And stayed up way past our usual 9pm bedtime hanging out in the hotel pool.

If you follow on Instagram, you have probably seen this Ingrid & Isabel dress on repeat lately. The material is so soft. It fits perfectly regardless of how big the bump is getting. Best of all, it makes me feel put together with no effort--a total win in my book. I love that it is a maternity dress, but not your typical maternity dress. I'll be wearing this long after baby arrives, especially with it being nursing friendly!

Packing for a weekend getaway when a toddler is not tagging along certainly requires a lot less luggage! I decided to take my new drool worthy PacaPod diaper bag for a test run this weekend. I can not get over how chic it looks.

The interior is impeccably designed for an organization nerd like myself. Separate compartments for bottles, diaper changing goods, and momma. These organizational pods also made for a wicked weekender bag, using the pods for toiletries and damp swimsuits. If you see me anytime in the next 13 weeks, don't be surprised if this entire outfit is on repeat.

And the bump? 27 weeks this week! I can barely keep track--literally had to just look it up on my calendar. When people told me pregnancy went quicker the 2nd time around, they weren't exaggerating!
