Lunchbox Ideas + Favorite Gear (+ a freebie)

Back to school season has arrived, which means lunch box packing is on our nightly agenda! By the end of the school year, you’ll probably find my kids eating Lunchables everyday, but for the time being I really enjoy getting organized and having fun with the school lunch packing.

To keep myself from getting into a lunch packing rut, I created a list of food ideas for their lunches. You can download a copy for yourself for free below! We have taped ours to the inside of our lunch cabinet so it is easily accessible when we are making our grocery list each week.

Food picks, lunchbox notes and cookie cutters are fun to use on occasion to spice up spice up their lunch box.

We keep an entire cabinet dedicated to school lunches. This keeps JD and I from eating all of the lunchbox foods during the week. The first shelf holds the bento boxes, lunchboxes and water bottles. The second shelf is full of containers that hold all of the dry goods for lunches. The top shelf has all of our supplies (and fun accessories).

Here’s a list of some of my favorite gear for lunchbox season!
